Why am I ECO FRIENDLY?

I have been conscious of the environment for many years, paying close attention to my CO2 contribution and garbage disposal.

I recycle and compost as much as I can, I use energy efficient bulbs and save water.

In the shop, all pure saw dust that is not contaminated, and small pieces of wood goes in the city compost bin. Cans, bottles, cardboard, paper and other are recycled. I give away local native plants to my clients when I have some extra. I use reclaimed materials as often as possible and encourage my friends and family to acknowledge they are part of this world and that we are all accountable. REMEMBER WE HAVE ONLY ABOUT TEN YEARS TO CHANGE OUR BEHAVIOR .

The story.

I have been a carpenter since the second week after my arrival to California in April 2003, I started as a Hardwood floor installer and finisher apprentice (Classic Oak Hardwood Floors), then a year after I switched to custom wooden window maker for around 3 years (Wooden Windows, inc.), then when recognized by carpenters union local 2236 as a journeyman, I wanted to learn more about high end carpentry and I went to work with my friend Chris (Restoration Workshop) for about a year as his apprentice. Then Sinan's windows offered me to start their wooden window shop from scratch and train workers with the foreman position and a very good wage. I did design the shop, select the equipment, and fully train 2 people ( a man and a woman). And as I always wanted to be independent, I finally decided to do it in November 2008. Since then, I have been able to find work and be recommended enough to be busy and happy. I love my career and I work with passion.
